Google brings e books to your mobiles!

The search giant, Google has recently announced that it is making its vast online library of e books available in mobile phones.  These new mobile editions are optimized to be read in small screen. The feature will be currently available on Apple i phone and T mobile G1


According to media spokes person of Google, “We are excited to announce the launch of a mobile version of Google Book Search, opening up over 1.5 million mobile public domain books in the US (and over half a million outside the US) for you to browse."


The initial offer is only for  non copyrighted books in the public domain.24/7 access to full catalogs of free books,  easy downloadable format (pages are downloaded at 15 at a time, so that there is no need to constantly flip to the next one), page book marks are some of the unique features.


To access the mobile version of Google Book Search a user needs to type http://books.google.com/m into the Web browser of their iPhone or Android phone
